Welcome to the Tors Drive-In, Charters Towers, Queensland. We are one of the oldest drive-in theatres in Queensland, and have been open continuously since 1966! Come along to see the lastest movies and recapture some of the nostalgia of the drive-in era. You'll always get double features at the Tors for less than the price of a single movie at other cinemas and we have the best hot food and candy bar in town at the lowest prices!

We are located at the intersection of New Queen Road and the Flinders Highway on the outskirts of Charters Towers, heading towards Townsville.

WE REGRET TO ADVISE THAT WE WILL BE CLOSED THE QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY WEEK-END - 11-13TH JUNE, 2010 DUE TO FAMILY COMMITTMENTS. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The drive-in will re-open 18th June 2010 with Ridley Scott's epic ROBIN HOOD starring Russell Crowe.

During the cooler months we will be screening half an hour earlier to avoid the winter chills that the late night brings!!! So the cafe & gates will open at 6.00 p.m. and the movie will commence at 6.30 p.m. sharp.
